A TEENAGER needed plastic surgery after a woman smashed a glass bottle in her face during a row outside a fastfood restaurant, a court heard.
Bolton Crown Court was told that Kirsty Mycock, aged 19, suffered “gruesome”
facial wounds in the attack, which happened as four girls were fighting in the car park at the China Gardens drivethrough McDonald’s in St Helen’s Road, Bolton.
Jesica Pauley, aged 21, who has pleaded not guilty to unlawful wounding, admits inflicting the damage but says she was acting in self-defence.
The court heard that before the incident, Miss Mycock had been drinking with her friend, Tammy Burke, after finishing work at The Railway in Tyldesley.
